Tens of thousands of people, about 200,000 according to the organizers, have rallied in Madrid to call on the Government to prevent ETA being in the local elections on May 22.
Under the motto ' by the defeat of terrorism: ETA out of the elections ', the demonstration, called by the Association of victims of terrorism (AVT), has invited thousands of citizens of all Spain.
"If ETA can be in the elections is because Zapatero and Rubalcaba allow it", said the President of the AVT, Angeles Pedraza, in the speech that clausuraba the demonstration on the stage of the plaza de Colón.
